Ironman Traffic Delays

did not happen and it looks like there were many lessons learned from last years events. The Sheriffs Department did a great job keeping traffic moving and delays to a minimum.

This was much better that the road closures last year that hampered traffic.

    There were plenty of electronic message boards out along the route for a couple of weeks ahead of the event, and the impact on the roads was publicized in both newspapers and in other formats. It should not have come as a surprise to anyone. So give the sheriff’s office a break, especially since a couple of them who live along your main road in the neighborhood do their part to keep crime down in the area.

    You are correct and this year they did a great job and it looks like the 2nd Ironman was a success.
